Enter Holy Spirit

Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. Ephesians 4:29-32 NIV

Almighty God, giver of Life Eternal, cleanse me of y anger, my rage, and my bitterness. May the Holy Spirit of God wash away all my unhealthy and unholy characteristics, that I may walk more nearly with Christ today, that I may serve His needs here on Earth.

Sometimes I read these bible passages, and I realize how far I have to go, and I get discouraged. I am lost in the wilderness, so to speak, feeling alone and empty. I pray and call upon the Holy Spirit, but I'm not always sure I am heard. I know I should not doubt, but sometimes I do.

I pray that the Holy Spirit will truly enter into my heart, and make me the child of God I so much want to be. Teach me to love, to live in faith and to act every day as His servant....this I pray earnestly in the name of Jesus Christ.
