Laying Down My Burdens-Matthew 11
'Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.' Matthew 11:28-30 NIV
Another small gift from God for me in this reading today. I lay awake last night feeling very overwhelmed with so much that is going on in my life, my head felt as though it might explode. I was unable to sleep much of the night.
In faith, I lay my burdens before God, asking His guidance as each day moves forward. I pray that He will show me the path of maximum service to Him, show me how I may become closer to Jesus Christ in faith.
