Fingers in pain...

I have been laboring on the strings of this guitar for around a week I suppose now, and my fingers are in quite a bit of pain. Perhaps I should say this is in the relative sense, for I know the pain isn't much in comparison to the type of pain Darlene has suffered with rheumatoid arthritis, but the tips of my fingers do indeed hurt. This simply brings me to the thought of sacrifice, and how everything we offer to God demands something on our part, some pain, some loss. What pain Our Lord has suffered for us. It is beyond my grasp.

I do pray, and ask those who read to join me in praying that my hands would in truth be offered to Him in honesty and sincerity, and that my fingers would indeed be anointed by the Spirit of Christ, that I may offer a pleasing sacrifice unto Him. Truly He has sacrificed all for us.
