The following photos are from our 2005 sheep and brown bear camps. The sheep camp is located in the Chugach Mountains, and the brown bear camp is located in the river valleys adjacent to the Alaska Range in GMU 16. The rams pictured here are the trophies of Andy Ribbens, Shan Ogden, Wayne Brown, Len Anderson and Albert Ketchum. The rams range from a 39 inch ram (Shan Ogden) with 14 inch bases, to a 33 inch ram (Albert Ketchum), with an overall average of 36.5 inches this year and a 3 year average of 37.6 inches on all our rams. I should also note that we have only had 2 rams harvested during this period that had under 14 inch bases. Brown bears were harvest by Dr. Robert McCulloch, Brandt Williams and Mike Quinn.
