The following photos are from our 2004 sheep and brown bear camps. The sheep camp is located in the Chugach Mountains, and the brown bear camp is located in the river valleys adjacent to the Alaska Range in GMU 16. The rams pictured here are the trophies of Jim Renkema and Blake Olson, who hunted with us as 1 on 1 hunters. Fortunately for them, we kept them together in the same camp for a couple of days and this fantastic double on 39" rams was the result. Both rams sport 14 inch bases with 39" horns. Sean Shea is officially our first successfull archery hunter for brown bear, for that matter he was my first archery hunter for brown bear, period. I would like to thank Blake Olson, Jerry Starkey, and Thomas Strausbaugh for the photos they have contributed to the outfit.
